My Story
Hi My name is Michelle, I am a mother of two beautiful girls aged 23 and 18 years old.
When my children were younger they both struggled with Anxiety, School pressure, friendship issues among many other stresses of teenage life just like most other teenagers their age.
Social media was just getting started and adding to the pressure. As a mother I was NOT equipped to deal with this at all, When some of the issues became more serious the doctors didn't do much if anything and the waiting list to see a specialist was anything form 1-5 years depending on how important they viewed your child's issues. I remember feeling sick to my stomach, thinking what if they don't have 5 years because it all becomes too much.
I was worried, scared and felt helpless with no where to go and nobody to turn to, I didn't know the answer and I wasn't getting any help. One day my child told me
" I might not be here when you get back, you don't care about me"
I remember having to walk out and leave my oldest most precious daughter at home in an emotional state and having to pick my youngest up from school. I cried all the way there. In the years that followed and ditermind not to have to wait around for 5 years that i would find a solution MYSELF.
I search the internet for hours, days, weeks and still nothing. Then one of the mums at school was an EFT Practitioner. This was my first experience of EFT and I was hooked, It gave me relief in minutes, how could this be?, it was amazing. I later Became an EFT Practitioner myself and both my daughters use EFT for emotional issues they are dealing with.
